2023 Casa Setaro Campanelle Falanghina Campania

Casa Setaro's "Campanelle" is a certified organic Falanghina from the Vesuvio National Park in Campania, grown at 250 meters altitude in the commune of Bosco del Monaco at the foot of the Parthenopean volcano. The volcanic soils impart a distinctive smoky minerality to the wine. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel for approximately 20 days, followed by six months aging on fine lees in steel and an additional two months in bottle before release. Massimo Setaro is working to bring modern recognition to the wines of Vesuvio through this fresh, Mediterranean expression of the region's terroir.
