2023 Christina Rosé

The wine is produced entirely from Zweigelt grapes grown in a vineyard characterized by a Pannonian climate and the cool winds of the River Danube. The terroir features soils of red gravel and loess from the Holzweg vineyard, and the estate has been managed organically since 2013. Production emphasizes minimal intervention: the grapes are hand‐harvested and direct pressed into stainless‐steel tanks with only a few hours of skin contact to achieve a delicate soft pink color. Following a controlled fermentation of approximately two weeks, the wine rests for 4 weeks, is racked once, and then undergoes 8 weeks of lees contact before bottling unfined and unfiltered with a small addition of sulfur.
