2023 Domaine Cousin-Leduc Yamag

100% Gamay from old vines planted in 1966 in Loire, France. Hand-harvested grapes are brought to the winery by horse and undergo carbonic maceration. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, with zero added SO2. The cuvée is named 'Yamag' as a playful scramble of 'Gamay' in response to labeling laws. Organically farmed, this wine showcases a dark, pulpy character.
