2023 Envínate Valle de la Orotava "Palo Blanco"

Palo Blanco is a monovarietal Listán Blanco from the historic Valle de La Orotava in Tenerife, sourced from century-old cordon trenzado vines planted at 400-850 meters elevation in volcanic soils across four towns including Los Realejos. The 1.5-hectare vineyard produces limited quantities of this distinctive Atlantic white. Hand-harvested grapes are pressed full cluster off the skins and fermented in concrete without malolactic conversion, then aged for 10 months in two Friulian 2500-liter oval foudres and used barrels. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration, showcasing the volcanic terroir's characteristic minerality and salinity.
