2023 Ganevat Cotes du Jura Plein Sud Trousseau

Plein Sud is made entirely from Trousseau grapes grown on steep south-facing hillsides in the Côtes du Jura on terroir of white marl, scree, and gravel. Produced by the family-run Domaine Ganevat, with viticultural roots dating to 1650 and certified biodynamic since 2014. The vines range from 15 to 60 years old. Winemaking involves intracellular fermentation followed by gentle maceration, with aging for one year in truncated cone-shaped vats. This light, perfumed red wine showcases the estate's commitment to highlighting terroir and grape variety through small-production, artisanal methods.
