2023 Giachino Persan
A biodynamic natural wine from high altitude Savoie, showcasing the rare local Persan grape variety. Produced from 20-year-old vines grown on southeast-facing clay-limestone soils. The grapes are handpicked and undergo whole bunch maceration for 2 to 5 days, followed by 8 months of aging in vats. This low-sulphur, vegan wine is medium-bodied with elegant, fine tannins and is ageworthy for up to 10 years.
