2023 L&B Jousset "Rose a lies" Pet-Nat

Rose à Lies is a Pétillant Naturel Rosé from Lise and Bertrand Jousset in Montlouis-sur-Loire. The wine is a blend of Gamay and Grolleau from parcels in Touraine, with the Gamay vines ranging from 40 to 60 years old and the Grolleau from 40 to 80 years old. The organically farmed vines are grown on sand and silex soils over limestone. The juice is fermented in used barriques before being moved to bottle to complete fermentation in the traditional Pétillant Naturel method.
