2023 Lapierre Morgon N

Marcel Lapierre is a renowned Triple 'A' producer based in the village of Morgon in Beaujolais, with the family arriving in Morgon in the early 1900s. Now led by Mathieu Lapierre following in his father's footsteps, this rare tête-de-cuvée 'Cuvée N' (referring to 'no sulfur') represents their classic sans soufre expression. Produced only in exceptional vintages from the domaine's oldest vines of 100+ years, the Gamay grapes are sourced from the prestigious Côte du Py and the lieu-dit 'Le Douby' near Fleurie within the Morgon appellation, one of the most famous Beaujolais crus. Vinified carbonically and bottled completely without sulfur across multiple bottlings throughout the year.
