2023 Lecointre Anjou Le Béguin

LE BEGUIN is a dry Chenin Blanc produced in the Loire under a family‐run, organic regime led by ninth generation vigneron Cyrille Lecointre. The wine is sourced from 18 parcels across three communes, combining grapes grown on Faye d’Anjou’s thin, gravelly, well‐drained soils with material from plots in Rablay-sur-Lyon, where stony schist terroir informs its character. Made and raised in stainless steel to preserve the inherent purity of the grape, this low-production wine (approximately 350 cases) is registered among the Vins blancs secs de Loire.
