2023 Lectores Vini Pomagrana Blanco

100% Xarel·lo from 40-year-old vines in the Roca Crespa vineyard, located in the Garraf mountains of Cubelles, just 4km from the Mediterranean. The vines are planted in clay-limestone soils and surrounded by Mediterranean forest, following ecological viticulture practices. The 2023 vintage faced severe drought with rainfall below 400mm. Manually harvested on August 30th, 2023, the grapes were completely de-stemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats. The wine aged for 6 months on fine lees, partially in stainless steel and partially in used barrels, before gentle filtration.
