2023 Lectores Vini Pomagrana Blanco
Produced from 100% Xarel-lo grapes grown in the southern foothills of the Garraf Massif and at the Roca Crespa vineyard in Cubelles—approximately 4 km from the Mediterranean—the wine reflects its terroir of 40-year-old vines cultivated in clay‑limestone soils under a Mediterranean climate. In keeping with ecological viticulture, the grapes are handpicked and de‑stamped, and fermentation is carried out in 100% inox steel vats using indigenous (native) yeasts with minimal intervention. The wine undergoes a dual aging process, spending six months on fine lees—part in stainless steel and part in used barrels—before being gently filtered and bottled. Notably, the 2023 vintage experienced significant drought conditions, resulting in reduced yields and emphasizing the vineyard’s distinctive character.
