2023 Montenidoli Vernaccia Fiore
The Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG is crafted exclusively from Vernaccia grapes grown in the historic hilltop vineyards of San Gimignano, Tuscany, where calcareous soils enriched with marine sediments influence the terroir. The wine is produced solely from free-run juice that is immediately directed to fermentation vats and then aged for an extended period on the lees in steel tanks, a method that is exemplified in the Fiore bottling from Montenidoli. The 2023 vintage, bottled at 13% alcohol in 0.75L, is engineered for optimal development, with recommended service at 8–10 °C and a consumption window extending from 2025 to 2029.
