2023 Occhipinti SP68 Bianco

SP68 Bianco is a Sicilian white wine produced by Arianna Occhipinti using indigenous grape varieties—Albanello and Zibibbo (Moscatel de Alejandría)—from old vineyards along Strada Provinciale 68. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a brief period of skin maceration before being spontaneously fermented with native yeasts in concrete tanks without temperature control. The wine is aged on the lees for approximately 6 months and bottled unfiltered with minimal added sulfites. It is made in strict accordance with organic and biodynamic practices, underscoring a strong connection to the local terroir and traditional winemaking methods. Recommended drinking window is 2024–2027.
