2023 Olivier Pithon Mac2 Cotes Catalanes

This wine is produced from two Muscat grape varieties using complementary winemaking approaches that emphasize organic practices and minimal intervention. One portion undergoes a 5‐month maceration with indigenous yeasts, a process designed to extract the skin and tannin components characteristic of orange wines while maintaining the fruit’s inherent expression. In parallel, a convivial cuvée is crafted in partnership with local organic winemakers; it is matured for 7 months in stainless steel tanks, a technique that preserves varietal purity and reflects a commitment to sustainable terroir practices. A subtle touch of oak influence is achieved through limited barrel contact, adding a technical dimension to the final style.
