Le Mas Au Schiste is a 2023 AOP Saint-Chinian red wine produced by Jean-Marie Rimbert. It is crafted from a blend of Syrah, Carignan noir, and Grenache noir, reflecting the unique character of the schistes de Berlou terroir. As the flagship cuvée of the Saint-Chinian range, it is developed using traditional regional winemaking techniques that emphasize the vineyard’s distinct schist soils and the expression of its natural attributes, positioning the wine for further development in the cellar over a period of 5 to 8 years.
