2023 Tantaka Txakoli Blanco

Juanjo Tellaetxe tends his family's 5 hectares in Artomaña, a small town in Valle de Arrastaria, 45km south-east of Bilbao. Surrounded by mountains that protect the vines from cool northern winds, he produces this Txakoli from Alava. Tantaka Blanco is fermented in stainless steel with native yeasts and aged on the lees for 5 months, resulting in wines that are beautifully pure with notable volume and complexity, characteristic of this distinctive Basque white wine style.
