2023 Terra Vita Vinum Terre de 3 Anjou Blanc

Terra Vita Vinum's Terre de 3 Anjou Blanc is a 100% Chenin Blanc from the Anjou Noir region, hand-harvested from three complementary plots: Rogeries, Grand Vau, and Clos des Gabouchons. Each vineyard contributes unique mineral characteristics from the area's distinctive green-grey schist, volcanic rhyolite, and quartz soils. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel on lees, resulting in an expressive white wine at 11.5% ABV. This cuvée represents a free interpretation of the terroir's original mineral properties, where dark schist and volcanic rock formations create the foundation for a more complex expression than typical Chenin Blanc. The wine showcases layers of fresh orchard fruit, delicate floral notes, and distinctive mineral tension with remarkable sapidity.
