2023 Thibaud Boudignon Rosé

This wine is produced in the Loire Valley under the official Rosé de Loire appellation using 30+ year old vines of 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Grolleau from Lys Haut Layon. The vineyards are managed biodynamically on shallow soils composed of grey schist, rhyolite (volcanic) and clay, with topsoil depths varying from minimal to 10–15 cm before reaching the mother rock. Grapes are directly pressed and the wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel using indigenous yeast without malolactic fermentation.
