2023 Tire Pé Diem

Tire Pé Diem Bordeaux is produced by Château Tire Pé, run by David and Hélène Barrault who took over a small planting in 1997. This cuvée is made entirely from Merlot, with vines aged 10 to 15 years planted at 3300 to 5000 vines per hectare on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are hand harvested and undergo a short 8-12 day cool maceration for soft extraction. The wine is aged for 8-10 months in concrete tanks, adding freshness to its character, and bottled without systematic filtration with only a small amount of sulphur added. This organic Bordeaux showcases the region's terroir with well-drained soils and optimal sun exposure.
