2023 Tomcsányi Petnat

The first Pét-nat from Somló is crafted from a blend of direct-pressed Olaszrizling, Chardonnay, and Traminer grapes. After a one‐month period of barrel aging, the wine is bottled with 12 g/l residual sugar—a deliberate adjustment to moderate the natural effervescence of the méthode naturelle process. The production approach highlights traditional techniques that reflect the character of the Somló terroir, emphasizing the wine’s balanced structure and naturally high acidity.
