2023 Villa Dora Rosato

A rosé wine from the Vesuvio area in Campania, Italy, produced by Villa Dora under the Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio DOC or Pompeiano IGP denomination. Made primarily from Piedirosso grapes with 12.5% alcohol content. The must undergoes 6-8 hours of skin contact after pressing before being removed from the skins and fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks. This wine is noted as being more affordable than many other wines from the region while maintaining a rich and fruity character.
