2024 Angelo Negro Serra Lupini Roero Arneis
The Negro family has cultivated vineyards in the Roero hills northwest of Alba since 1670, with the estate now run by Giovanni Negro. The family is renowned for producing the first dry Roero Arneis on record in 1971, establishing their legacy with this native Piedmontese grape. Their Arneis comes from some of the best vineyard sites in Roero, where lighter, sandy soils allow the grape to ripen fully while retaining brightness. The resulting wine exhibits the characteristic sapid and mineral qualities imparted by Roero's distinctive sandy terroir.
