2024 Broc Cellars Negroamaro Estate

A chillable red wine made from 100% Negroamaro. Traditionally used as a component in the Amore Rosso blend to add aromatic lift and brightness, this harvest stood out on its own and deserved a separate bottling to fully showcase its character. The fruit was destemmed and kept on the skins for 10 days with daily pumpovers until fermentation started. After extracting color from the skins, 75% was gently pressed into neutral oak barrique and the remaining 25% into concrete. After fermentation, the wine was racked into a concrete tank where it aged for 8 months.
