2024 Caravaglio Malvasia Secca Isola di Salina

This dry white wine is produced from a blend of 90% Malvasia di Lipari and 10% other local varieties, with the grapes sourced from 20 small vineyards established on sandy, volcanic soils in the Malfa district on the island of Salina, Sicily. Notably, some Malvasia vines have been cultivated organically since the 1990s by Antonio Caravaglio. Vinification is carried out using a controlled temperature fermentation process that employs exclusively native yeasts, ensuring that the production methods and the unique character of the sea-influenced terroir are faithfully expressed.
