2024 Chateau Simone Palette Rose

Château Simone’s Rosé is produced in Provence’s smallest and most historic appellation from ancient, century‐old vines planted on north‐facing limestone scree slopes within a natural amphitheater influenced by the Arc River and surrounding forests. Under the stewardship of the Rougier family since 1830, the estate practices ancestral organic viticulture and traditional winemaking methods that include hand harvesting and extended barrel aging—often in small oak foudres on fine lees—to precisely develop the wine’s structure. The cuvée is crafted from a blend identical to that of the château’s rouge, comprising 45% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault, and 20% Syrah, along with indigenous secondary varieties such as Castet, Manosquin, Carignan, Muscat Noir (with the inclusion of Muscat Blanc and, in some expressions, Cabernet Sauvignon). This winemaking approach emphasizes terroir expression and meticulous production techniques.
