2024 COS Frappato

Crafted by natural winemaker Giusto Occhipinti, this wine showcases the indigenous Sicilian variety Frappato, one of Sicily's most elegant native reds. The producer helped pioneer the revival of native Sicilian grapes and natural winemaking on the island. Made organically without oak aging, this light to medium-bodied wine is characterized by its vibrant acidity, soft tannins, and aromatic intensity. The brightness of fruit combined with Frappato's natural acidity makes this ideal for slight chilling, as traditionally done in Sicily. The wine offers exceptional food-friendliness and approachability.
