2024 Coteaux des Margots Macon-Villages Blanc

A refreshing Southern Burgundian Chardonnay from the Mâcon-Villages appellation in the Mâconnais hills. The wine is crafted with a focus on freshness and finesse, undergoing gentle, relatively cool fermentation to retain pure fruit and floral aromatics. Grapes are picked with good acidity levels to preserve the wine's characteristic brightness. No oak is used in production; instead, the wine is aged briefly in lined concrete vats before bottling, allowing the focus to remain on its natural character as a textured and zippy example of Southern Burgundian Chardonnay. The domaine practices careful soil management including vine cover cropping.
