2024 Foradori Fontanasanta Nosiola
Foradori Fontanasanta Nosiola is crafted from the ancient Nosiola grape variety, indigenous to Trentino and now cultivated primarily in Valle dei Laghi, Colline di Trento, and Pressano. The wine comes from 3 hectares of calcareous clay terroir in the Fontanasanta vineyard, situated in the foothills of the Dolomites at approximately 400 meters elevation. Nosiola expresses itself intensely in poor soil vineyards, producing wines of great delicacy and longevity. The wine is fermented and fined on the skins in clay amphorae for 8 months, with the amphora's shape and porosity allowing extended skin contact that slowly reveals the true expression of the variety. Annual production is 10,000 bottles.
