This white blend is crafted from Picpoul (40%), Chenin Blanc (40%), and Petit Manseng (20%) grown at Saureel Vineyard in the Gold Hill district of Placerville within the Sierra Foothills. The vineyard, situated at 1650' on decomposed granite soils and managed organically, reflects Frenchtown Farms’ focus on personal vine interaction and meticulous vineyard care. The grapes were harvested in three passes, then direct-pressed and fermented in stainless steel before undergoing a 10‐month aging period in stainless steel vessels and neutral French oak.
