2024 Jakue Txakolina Rosado
This Txakoli rosé is produced in the Basque region of Spain using indigenous varietals, notably an equal blend of Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza. Sourced from areas such as the vineyards of Weingut Talai Berri and regions including Zarautz and Getariako Txakolina within the Txakolina DOC, the wine is made from grapes that constitute a limited percentage of the regional production. The grapes are hand‐harvested in small cases, carefully sorted and de‐stemmed, then gently crushed and allowed to macerate for a few hours. Fermentation is conducted at a controlled temperature (up to 16°C), a method that preserves the wine’s distinctive aromatic profile and natural spritz while reflecting the region’s traditional winemaking techniques and unique terroir.
