2024 Lapierre Le Beaujolais

This wine is produced exclusively from Gamay grown across several distinct vineyard sites. Three parcels in Beaujolais—including vineyards on the Lancié commune that are also partly allocated to the cuvée Raisins Gaulois—and additional vineyards located just beyond the Morgon AOC boundaries provide grapes from sandy, granitic soils, with one estate comprising 2.5 hectares of 70‑year‑old vines. The winemaking process involves whole‑cluster carbonic maceration conducted in cuves, with fermentation and maturation carried out without oak influence and in some instances left unfiltered. This approach reflects the disciplined methods of a Triple “A” producer and the signature practices of producers such as Mathieu and Camille Lapierre.
