2024 Lapierre Morgon 1.5L

Marcel Lapierre is a renowned figure in Beaujolais winemaking and a key driver of the natural wine movement. The estate, managed by his children, is known for producing vibrant and enduring Morgon wines using organic practices and traditional methods. This Morgon is a Triple 'A' producer wine sourced from three parcels across the village line in Lancié, a neighboring commune of Villié Morgon. The wine undergoes semi-carbonic maceration without SO2 for 10-21 days and spends 6 months in cuve before spring bottling. A version without added sulfites (Cuvée N - Sans Soufre) is also available. The wine generally displays dominant aromas of cherry, liquorice and violet.
