2024 Lapierre Morgon N

Marcel Lapierre's Morgon is an iconic natural wine from Beaujolais, produced by a legendary estate that helped define the natural wine movement after connecting with Jules Chauvet in the 1970s. The Cuvée N (Non-Sulphité) is made without any added sulfur at any point in production. Crafted from Gamay grapes grown in biodynamically managed vineyards, the wine is made with minimal intervention using wild yeasts, aged in oak for several months, and bottled without fining or filtration. As a Triple A certified producer, the Lapierre domaine represents benchmark winemaking in Morgon. The late Marcel Lapierre took over his family's estate in 1973, and the domaine is now run by his children Mathieu and Camille Lapierre.
