2024 Mas de Gourgonnier Rosé Les Baux de Provence

This storied domaine, run with passion and skill by Luc and Lucienne Cartier, has been farming and making wine organically for decades, certified organic since 1975. The vineyards lie in the shadow of Les Alpilles, a stunning limestone range with peaks reaching 500 meters, on limestone-dominant terroir mixed with clay. The blend of this perennially amazing rosé has more Syrah than usual, giving a soft texture and fruitier finish, as well as a little Carignan to lend a spicy note and add complexity. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks.
