2024 Ronchi di Cialla Friulano
The Friulano from Ronchi di Cialla represents one of Friuli-Venezia Giulia's most distinctive autochthonous grape varieties. Sourced from the Colli Orientali appellation, the estate's vines average 50 years in age and are planted in marl soils composed of clay and limestone with marly limestone bedrock, characterized by particularly high pH that contributes to the wine's aging potential. This white wine is vinified and aged in stainless steel, embodying the winery's dedication to producing wines in a clean, mineral style that authentically express their terroir. The wine showcases the typical characteristics of Friulano, including subtle minerality and a light herbaceous character that recalls the distinctive soil composition of its origin.
