2024 Tarlao Friuli Aquileia Malvasia Ninive

This Friulian white wine is crafted from Malvasia Istriana, a grape variety originally from the Peloponnesian plains of Greece that has adapted well to the Friuli region of Northern Italy. The wine displays a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. It expresses the characteristic mineral salinity of the region's terroir, with intense aromatic complexity including floral notes of acacia and jasmine, fruity aromas of peach, apricot, and lemon, and nutty characteristics with hints of almond and orange peel. A dry, fresh wine with good structure, savory character, and harmonious persistence that represents the Old World winemaking style of Northern Italy.
