2024 Terah Wine Co. Vermentino
This 100% Vermentino is produced in California using minimal‐intervention, skin-contact techniques that align with natural and orange wine styles. The grapes, sourced from vineyards such as Clements Hills and other sites where the terroir is shaped by coastal Pacific Ocean influences, warm days, and cooling delta breezes, are processed to enhance their intrinsic character. Winemaking includes full malolactic fermentation and a five‐month period of stainless steel aging, reflecting both traditional methods reminiscent of Corsican and Sardegna practices and modern approaches to express the vineyard’s unique attributes. Initially introduced at select Whole Foods locations, the wine is positioned as an accessible, premium expression of Californian Vermentino.

Harvest
Hand-harvested grapes are processed as whole clusters, with intact stems, and a portion is directly pressed.
Fermentation
Fermentation occurs with skin contact in stainless steel using native yeast; a segment is fermented separately as straight Vermentino before blending. The wine rests after settling overnight with light racking and undergoes full malolactic fermentation.
Aging
The finished wine is aged for 5 months in stainless steel.
