2025 Chai de la Dive Saumur Blanc Les Moulins

This entry-level Chenin Blanc from Saumur represents a négociant project launched with the 2024 vintage by Romain Guiberteau, Brendan Stater-West, Camille Guiberteau, and Alex Crochet. The wine sources organically farmed grapes from vineyards around Berrie and Épieds, including young vines from the Domaine and purchased fruit from neighboring growers undergoing organic certification. The vineyards are planted on Loire's characteristic shallow clay-sand and silt soils over hard Turonian limestone bedrock, which imparts both breadth and cutting mineral tension. Aged exclusively in stainless steel to preserve pristine lines and clarity. Bottled at Domaine Guiberteau with Romain's name on the back labels.
