2025 Delinquente Screaming Betty Vermentino

Riverland Vermentino wild fermented in stainless steel and matured for six weeks on fine lees with twice-weekly stirring, creating distinctive textural character. This certified organic wine showcases the variety's heat tolerance and ability to retain natural acidity in the warm 2025 vintage conditions, resulting in bolder flavors and enhanced primary fruit depth. The wine presents a floral bouquet with geranium and jasmine notes, along with green apple, nashi pear, grapefruit, lemon curd, and white spice characteristics. Features the variety's distinctive kerosene and oily qualities, with chalky, phenolic texture, warm stone minerality, crystalline acidity, and crunchy salinity at the finish. A high-wire, acid-driven expression with lovely length and persistence, characteristic of lo-fi/natural winemaking. The lees stirring contributes to the mouthfeel and complexity typical of quality Australian Vermentino.
