2025 Division Winemaking Company Gamay Noir Nouveau Mais Oui!

This early release Gamay Noir wine is produced in the Pacific Northwest using a fast-paced winemaking process timed for the Beaujolais Nouveau release. Sourced from a nearly 6‐acre block at Carousel Vineyard in Columbia Valley, the wine is crafted under organic practices from grapes grown in mineral‐intense, volcanic Miocene uplift soils. The production follows the Beaujolais nouveau tradition, with a scheduled pickup on November 18, 2025, and a recommended serving temperature of approximately 55°F.

Biodynamic, Organic, Sustainable Viticulture with low intervention; transitioned to Organic farming in 2019.

Harvest

Grapes are processed using a blend of fully carbonic and semi‐carbonic maceration techniques, sometimes following destemming. Traditional pumpovers and the pied du cuve method are applied, with grapes remaining on skins for 10–12 days.

Fermentation

Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with resident house yeasts, incorporating both primary and secondary fermentations. Techniques from nouveau and traditional Beaujolais methods are employed to maintain low intervention practices.

Aging

No extended aging is conducted, consistent with a style intended for immediate consumption.
