2025 Domaine de Reuilly Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris wine from Reuilly produced under AOC Reuilly d'Origine Contrôlée appellation. The vines are planted on sandy-gravelly soil as well as Kimmeridgian limestone soils—the same geological formation as Chablis—specifically suited to promote the expression of Pinot Gris characteristics. This sunset-hued wine showcases an Alsatian influence with the refreshing acidity and minerality characteristic of Reuilly terroir, combined with the silky viscosity typical of Alsatian Pinot Gris. The estate produces several cuvées of Pinot Gris including Chatillons, Fossiles, and Les Chênes variants. A wine that sparks debate about its classification between rosé and orange wine styles.
