2025 Domaine de Sulauze Coteaux Aix-en-Provence Pomponette Rosé

Pomponette Rosé is the flagship production of Domaine de Sulauze, crafted by Karina and Guillaume Lefèvre who met hiking across Corsica. The wine blends Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Vermentino from 15-year-old vines planted in sandy clay and sandstone soils rich in flaky limestone known as 'Lauze,' which provides excellent drainage and protects vines from temperature variations. The 30-hectare estate is more than a vineyard—it's a place of life where wine and sharing go hand in hand. The domaine also cultivates wheat, barley, olive trees, operates a brewery, and raises organic bulls, all following biodynamic and agroecology principles with no chemical treatments. The wine expresses both terroir identity and minimal intervention philosophy, capturing a subtle range of red fruit with mineral precision.
