2025 Kobal 'Roots' Rožnato

Kobal Roots Rožnato is a dry rosé wine made from 100% Zweigelt grapes with full ripeness and 2 hours of skin maceration. Produced in the Haloze appellation of Štajerska Slovenia, the wine comes from steep marl soil vineyards where vines average 35 years old with deep root systems that absorb minerality. The wine undergoes fermentation with native yeast from the vineyard and maturation on lees in small oak barrels. This gastronomy-type rosé demonstrates varietal recognizability with minimal cellar intervention and is ageworthy for 1-5 years of additional bottle aging.
