2025 Lapierre Le Beaujolais

A distinctive cuvée from sibling duo Mathieu and Camille Lapierre, made from declassified Morgon parcels and granitic fruit just outside the cru boundaries. The wine is whole-cluster fermented with native yeasts and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur, embodying the iconic Lapierre approach to Gamay. Despite its Beaujolais classification, the quality rivals top-class Morgon, showcasing the potential of whole-cluster Gamay from sandy granitic soils. A more accessible and earlier-drinking expression that maintains the depth and class associated with the legendary Lapierre estate.
