NV Domaine Wassler Cremant d'Alsace Rosé Pinot Noir

This rosé is produced exclusively from Pinot Noir sourced from two distinct locations. One component comes from the oldest cooperative in France, with vineyards extending six miles around Ribeauville on a geological fault line characterized by diverse soils, including clay, chalk, sandstone, schist, and marls. The other is crafted by grower-producers Anne, Marc, and Matthieu Wassler in the village of Blienschwiller, 40 km south of Strasbourg, where the wine is made in the style of Champagne. It undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle for 15 months before disgorgement, following the méthode traditionnelle, with additional aging of up to 12 months in bottle prior to disgorgement.
