NV Edgar Brutler Vinul Casei Alb Liter

Vinul Casei Alb (“White House Wine”) is a limited‐availability Romanian white wine produced from a field blend grown on a single small plot established in 1926 in Transylvania. The blend is primarily composed of local varieties—Grünspitz, Fetească Regală, and Welschriesling—with minor contributions from Rhine Riesling, Chardonnay, Furmint, and, in one instance, fruit sourced from an adjacent organic vineyard. Fermentation is executed with 80% in stainless‐steel tanks and 20% in 600‑L oak barrels, with the components blended after winter. The wine is unfined and unfiltered, with 10 ppm SO2 added just before bottling. Founded by Edgar Brutler, the winery’s meticulous approach reflects its deep-rooted terroir and longstanding vineyard history.
