NV Ganevat Madelon Rouge

The 2015 Vin de France Rouge “Madelon” from Jura is produced from a carefully blended combination of Gamay and indigenous Jura varieties. Depending on the cuvée, the Gamay content ranges from approximately 50% to as high as 75–80%, with grapes sourced from renowned Beaujolais crus such as Morgon, Brouilly, and Fleurie. The remaining blend is made up of native Jura varietals—including Enfarinés in some expressions—grown on terroirs characterized by granite, marl, and limestone soils, with some vines being 40–70 years old and cultivated organically. The wine is made using organic, biodynamic, and natural winemaking practices, with at least one expression aged for 10 months in old oak.
