C.N. Kopke Reserve Tawny Porto is a Port Wine from the Douro region of Portugal. This Touriga Nacional-based blend incorporates traditional Douro red varieties grown on schist-sandstone soils at 600 meters elevation. The wine is marked by oxidative characteristics from aging in old wood for 7 years, resulting in its distinctive brown-tawny color with golden rim. The production shows balanced complexity with pH 3.6, total acidity of 4.10 g/L, and residual sugars of 104 g/L, representing a classic introduction to the tawny port style.
