NV Vollenweider Tschiel Nr. 2 Brut Nature

This sparkling wine is produced in Mosel, Germany, in the Brut Nature style using traditional méthode champenoise techniques. It is crafted from Chardonnay and white grape varieties traditionally known as Pinot Blanc or, in German, Weißburgunder. In one formulation, the blend is composed equally (50/50) of Chardonnay and Weißburgunder. The Chardonnay is sourced from the Briedeler Herzchen vineyard in Briedel, a west‐facing site with grey slate soils, while the Weißburgunder comes from the Wolfer Goldgrube. The winemaking process emphasizes extended autolysis to develop a fine, persistent perlage and retains subtle yeasty characteristics, ensuring that the final wine reflects the influence of its varied vineyard sites and meticulous production methods.
